Our local telephone exchange has problems this weekend so anyone hosting sites or otherwise on my server expect there to be problems.  Some dufus workman put a jackhammer through a cable or something Sad

BT (tel company) say the problem should be fixed on Monday - although I'm online now ok (but don't know if it will stay this way for long - keeping fingers crossed Smiley

Something going on... Huh I heard the Cisco bug was solved quickly enough so there was no real breakdowns on the īnet...

Your server not available all day long, now just some minutes ago some DevShed guy tells me he cannot contact my server at all... wtf???
<cynic>
Who needs telecommunications anyway? Letīs go back to printing on paper. Iīll write a letter, youīll copy it 50 times and send it to all users of our new "offline board"...

DAMMIT! Canīt they let somebody do this job who actually knows what heīs doing?  :guns:  :grr:

Haha Smiley

Nice to hear someone using this forum!  Doesn't get much use mainly because I didn't tell anyone about it or advertise it on the main site Smiley

Yes it's all very odd, must be to do with the weather (always blame it on the weather!).

Started last night at 5am - I walked into my room at 5am, smoke a cigarette out of window, decided to get on machine and do work(!) and no connection!!!!  Spent ages worrying that I'd knocked something out of place or been banned for scanning a large netblock heh...

Turns out today that a _large_ number of ppl have been put out in our city here... kind of a relief in a way.
